PSI is a foundation — it has no members and no fees. We rely on people and institutions who share their time, knowledge and resources with us. Here is how you can help.
Become a volunteer
We need hands for underwater cleanups, shore support, trainings, photo documentation and organising events. You do not have to be a diver — plenty of tasks are waiting on the surface.
Fill in a short online form with a cover letter — then we will invite you to an interview.
- Recruitment
- After you apply, we invite you to an interview — in person or by phone. The President of the Board decides on admission, and a refusal can be appealed to the Foundation Council.
- Points and training
- Taking part in our campaigns earns you personal points that you can use for free diving training run by our volunteer instructors (5 points per training day). Points expire if you earn no new one for a year. Details are in the rules.
- Agreement
- We sign a volunteer agreement with every volunteer, as required by the Polish Act on Public Benefit and Volunteer Work — it sets out the tasks and the period of cooperation.
- Safety
- We inform you about risks and safety rules, and provide accident insurance as required by the Act.
- Certificate
- On request we issue a written certificate of your volunteer work.
Make a donation
Donations fund equipment for cleaning the bottom, educational materials and organising actions. The foundation runs no business activity — all funds go to its statutory goals.
We will publish the bank account number once the foundation is entered in the National Court Register (KRS). Until then, write to us if you would like to support a specific initiative or donate equipment.
Become a partner
We welcome companies, dive centres, universities, schools and local authorities. Together we organise cleanups, trainings and research projects — you can support us with equipment, venues, know-how or patronage.
